So here is just very briefly the most important information for you to make the most of your stay… but first things first!
REGISTRATION - FIRST!
SOME BUREAUCRACY BEFORE JUMPING INTO THE SEA!
Unfortunately we must collect some information about you and your stay….
General information:
Please provide me with:
- Date of birth,
- passport number and
- expiration date and
- Date of issue please!
That's all! Your name, surname, nationality and arrival date I will take from your booking request.
Copy of ID:
And very important:
- please also send a copy of your ID or passport to my email please: georgreiter@me.com
Here you find a link to the original pdf registration form in case you could fill it out online and send it to me!
This would be perfect by the way!

AT YOUR ARRIVAL
ABOUT YOUR HOUSE KEYS and THE REMOTE
Arrival at the house
You will find the key box in front of entrance door number 7, on your right at the very top. This key opens the door to the main entrance door from the street. Sometimes the door is open, then you are lucky:-). Otherwise grab the key from the box ( the code will be given to you on request!) open the door and put the key back please in the box and close it!
These are the security keys in case you lock yourself out!
Arrival at the flat
The next key box is located in front of the flat door in the second floor, on your left, against the wall .
Grab the key from the box ( the code will be given to you on request!) open the door and put the key back in the box and close it please!
These are the security keys in case you lock yourself out!
Please put the security keys back into the corresponding key boxes and lock them :-)!
If you should lock yourself out, then you have the right keys in the respective key box in an emergency!
In the apartment we provide you with the following keys:
two keys to open the door coming from the street.
(this is also the key that can be used to enter the communal swimming pool between the two blocks, next to the number 9).
two keys to enter the flat
one remote for the garage: the garage door opens by pressing the button
CHECK IN/OUT
Ask us and we will try to meet your requirements. But usually please come after 16:00 and leave before 11:00 to make sure Mercedes has enough time to make everything nice and clean for you or the next guests.
STAY CONNECTED
Choose the wireless network Ciguena-A2-4 for your flat! The password is Tarifa2020 for this network!
The router is behind the sofa against the wall. If you need better coverage upstairs you could connect the router and plug it in closer to the area you need.
SLEEPING MODE
Some people may have had a tiring day exploring all the beautiful things in Tarifa and would like to have a relaxing sleep to recharge their batteries. For a good neighborhood please respect the night’s rest from 12 pm to 8 am.

Drying
As we care about the environment, we ask you to use the clotheslines to dry your clothes and not the drying machine :-)! On the balcony to unfold or trationally in the room beside the kitchen

Press once and wait 1 minute. You will get an amazing foam
Refrigerator
The door only closes if you push hard. Please push hard.
The Living Room
TV
Only spanish channels but also Netflix and Youtube if you like!
Music
Bluetooth! ... ready to play your favourite music! Click on the on /off symbol, Press the Bluetooth button under the number 1 on the right side, check your mobile and you should see "TEUFEL".
Fuse box
Next to the entrance door there is the fuse box (hidden behind a picture!) in case there is an electrical issue...
Aircondition (Summer time)
If you open a window or a door (beware of strong wind, especially LEVANTE!), there is a perfect airflow! Normally, this is enough to have a perfect sleeping temperature. However, some nights it can get too hot and that's why we have air conditioning for you.
The aircondition unit is an environmentally friendly system.
- If the outside temperature is too low (< 23 degrees), the system will not cool.
- The air conditioner also needs some water in the system. If you use both showers at the same time very intensively, there may be a problem for the system to cool down. It has never happened to us before, but I just wanted to say it :-)
- The air condition only works if all doors and windows are closed!
You have an air conditioning unit on the ground floor and upstairs to adjust the temperature individually.
When you are in any "mode" you press the up or down arrow to adjust the temperature. In addition to the temperature, you can also adjust the fan speed by clicking on the symbol and then adjust by pressing the arrow buttons.
Cooling
snow symbol - you would like to cool down the room
Night mode
If you press the moon symbol, the system will be silent and good for a good nap.
Off
off-symbol - the system saves electricity :-)
Underfloorheating (Winter time)
Underfloorheating which works with hot water. You would like to use it if you would like a certain temperature over a longer periode of time. It takes a lot longer to adjust. It works only in winter!!
- **ad Underfloor heating:** in almost all rooms you have a little divice to adjust the temerature individually. When you in any mode you press the + and the - to adjust the temperature.
When you are in any "mode" you press the up or down arrow to adjust the temperature. In addition to the temperature, you can also adjust the fan speed by clicking on the symbol and then adjust by pressing the arrow buttons.
Heating
snow-symbol - you would like to heat up the room
Cooling
Sun symbol - you would like to cool down the room. Doesn't make sense in winter!!!
Night mode
moon-symbol - you have a specila temperature for the night
HOUSEKEEPING
We hope you enter the apartment in perfect condition for your stay. Please forgive us if the outside area is not completely free of leaves or the windows are a bit fogged up or the birds have left their things on the terrace. If Mercedes cleaned the day before, it may look like it needs to be cleaned again. Tarifa is a dusty and windy place with many seagulls :-) . However, we will do our best to make everything perfect. If you are not happy, just say so and we will do it again.
If you would like to have your apartment cleaned let me know ( About Euro 60).
SWIMMING POOL
If you feel like swimming in a pool just walk through the garage or through the street to the next building which has the number 9! There is a pool for people living in the two blocs! You could also walk through the underground parking to the pool! It is just a bit tricky to explain.
PARKING
Use the remote control to enter the underground parking lot . The parking lot number is T5 and written on the white door behind the parking lot . Just drive down the ramp and go straight ... after 5 parking spaces you will see the parking lot! Right before there is the door to go to the lift to go up again to the flat!
CLOSING OF MAIN DOOR
When you leave the house especially during the evening please make sure the main door GOING OUT TO THE STREET is locked!
