AT YOUR ARRIVAL
HOUSE KEYS and REMOTE
Arrival at the house
You’ll find the key box right in front of entrance door number 7 – on your right, all the way at the top.
This key opens the main entrance door from the street. Sometimes it’s already open – in that case, lucky you! 😊
If not, just take the key from the box (you’ll receive the code on request), open the door, and please return the key to the box and close it again.
These are emergency keys in case you ever lock yourself out – so best to keep them there.
Arrival at the flat
The second key box is located right in front of the apartment door on the second floor, to your left, against the wall.
Take the key from the box (you’ll receive the code on request), open the door, and please put the key back in the box and close it again.
These are emergency keys, just in case you ever lock yourself out – so please make sure they stay in place.
Please put the security keys back into the corresponding key boxes and lock them :-)!
If you should lock yourself out, then you have the right keys in the respective key box in an emergency!
Keys & Access
You’ll receive:
– 2 keys to open the main entrance door from the street
(This key also gives access to the communal swimming pool –
located between the two blocks, next to number 9)
– 2 keys for the apartment door
– 1 remote control for the garage
Simply press the button to open the garage door
Please keep everything safe – and let us know right away if anything goes missing.

AIRCONDITION (Summer time)
Energy-efficient system that works via a heat pump.
We recommend setting it to around 25 °C for a consistent and pleasant cooling effect.
Climate Control at Ciguena A2.4
Thanks to the sea breeze, opening a window or door (just watch out for the Levante wind!) often creates a refreshing natural airflow – usually more than enough for a good night’s sleep.
On warmer days, you can also use our modern, energy-efficient Daikin Altherma 3 RF+W climate system.
Unlike traditional air conditioning, this system cools gently and sustainably by lowering the indoor temperature just a few degrees below the outside air – creating a more natural and comfortable atmosphere.
For example:
If it’s 30 °C outside, expect an indoor temperature of around 25–27 °C. Not icy cold – but quietly effective.
Recommended setting: 25 °C
- Important: Please keep windows and doors closed while cooling – otherwise the system won’t work.
- Note: If the outside temperature is below 23 °C, the system will not cool.
- Underfloor cooling is disabled in summer to prevent condensation.
How to use the system:
– Choose your mode (cooling, fan, etc.)
– Use the arrows to adjust the temperature
– To change fan speed, press the fan icon and set your level

Cooling
Snowflake symbol = cooling mode (use this if you’d like to cool down the room)
Night
Moon symbol = silent mode – the system will run extra quietly, ideal for a peaceful night’s sleep or a midday nap 🌙
Off
Off symbol = system off – save electricity and enjoy the fresh sea breeze instead 🌬️

Dishwasher
- Briefly press the reset button to get started.
- Slide your finger over the dots to switch between programs – easy and intuitive!
Washing
Nothing special here either – it’s wash & dry! 🧺
Drying
As we care about the environment, we kindly ask you to use the clotheslines to dry your laundry instead of the dryer whenever possible. The Tarifa sun does a great job – and it’s free! ☀️🙂

Music
Bluetooth! ... ready to play your favourite music! Click on the on /off symbol, Press the Bluetooth button under the number 1 on the right side, check your mobile and you should see “TEUFEL” or upstaris “BOSE".
Fuse box
Next to the entrance door there is the fuse box (hidden behind a picture!) in case there is an electrical issue...
OUTSIDE OF THE FLAT
SWIMMING POOL
If you feel like taking a dip in the pool, just cross the garage or the street to the next building – number 9. There’s a swimming pool shared by residents of both blocks! You can also walk through the underground parking to reach the pool. It’s a bit tricky to explain.
PARKING
Use the remote control to enter the underground parking. The parking spot is T5 – you’ll see it written on the white door behind the parking bay. Drive down the ramp and go straight… after about five parking spaces, you’ll see the spot! Just before it, there’s a door that leads to the elevator to go back up to the apartment.
